Meet Dr. Reynolds

Dr. Paula Reynolds has been a practicing chiropractor since 1987. Dr. Reynolds received her BA from Appalachian State University in 1978 and graduated with honors from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1986. After practicing in Atlanta for six years, she decided to return to her roots in North Carolina. In November 1992, she established Bridgeport Chiropractic Clinic in Valdese. By 2005, after building a successful and highly respected chiropractic practice, she found that she was outgrowing her present site. In expanding the size of the clinic, Dr. Reynolds also wished to expand the scope of the healthcare services she offered. To this end, she is happy to announce the expansion of her staff to include two board certified massage therapists, Paula McLendon and Joy McCall. The opening of Reynolds Family Wellness Center in downtown Valdese is the realization of a dream. Located at 138 Main Street East, the center now incorporates a wide range of natural and holistic healthcare services for all age ranges from infant to senior citizen. Dr. Reynolds uses chiropractic procedures diverse enough for treatment of the general population and gentle enough for the treatment of babies and the elderly. While she uses many different types of treatments to aid in the relief of chronic and acute pain, she prefers to take a more holistic approach to the patient’s healthcare. To this end, Dr. Reynolds now offers wellness counseling in the areas of nutrition and the use of vitamin/mineral/herbal supplementation. For families with young children, she offers pediatric chiropractic services, as well as chiropractic care for mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. For sports-minded families, she has extensive training and experience in the treatment of athletic injuries.  She is also happy to announce the addition of sauna and cellular cleansing/detoxification.  These procedures are beneficial in the reduction of symptoms associated with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and a variety of inflammatory conditions.

We extend our services to the community and hope that you will make Reynolds Family Wellness Center a part of your family healthcare planning
